I don’t know beans about Agent skills, but takes some well honed writing chops to make an MRI this funny. Especially when we all know, those suckers are scary. Glad it’s going well Erin.
OMG...you crack me up. I had a similar experience on Monday (also, not an issue)--but they gave me excellent drugs, so staring at the ceiling in one of those fetching gowns was so much easier....
Oh my goodness, Erin, I needed to read your post this morning! Only a writer could turn this into a hysterical piece! Two other authors and I are writing a funny episodic pre-holiday story on the QM2. You should do one of medical waiting room waits. It would be a huge hit!
Not only did I spend my psychologist career at a major cancer center and have two separate episodes of breast cancer myself, but my WIP is about a physician whose breast cancer returns, so lots of scenes about the absurdity of medical settings. I loved writing a send off of ads for breast cancer drugs. Live your best life with metastatic breast cancer!

This was hilarious. And so relatable!!
Enlightenment and madness- such a thin line. Great post!
this is the most relatable thing I've read all day

Headed to the doctor’s office in a couple of hours. Wish me luck!

MRIs are already so nerve-wracking. Can’t imagine tacking on a lengthy wait time too. Seems like you made the best of it!
